Aquaneed Update

We hope you are keeping safe and well and that you have made the most of the lovely April sunshine we’ve had. While lockdown continues, there is still plenty behind the scenes activity for us, so here is a quick Aquaneed update from us.

General update

While our main office is remaining closed, we are still continuing to undertake quotations for new works over the phone. If you would like a quotation for a new bathroom adaptation, then kindly send us the measurements and photos of your current bathroom. We can then provide a detailed 3D visual and plans, as well as costs to you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01784 440333 or email us at office@aquaneed.co.uk

Essential works

We are also still dealing with emergency callouts and essential works, as per government guidelines.

We are deemed an essential service with regards to the works listed below, which include:

1. Work that will allow a patient to come home and release hospital bed space.

2. Any work that is deemed essential by your Occupational Therapist.

3. Any work that can be undertaken in void properties.

4. Emergency call outs

Helping the local community

Behind the scenes, we have provided help and support at a local hospital by sourcing local transportations drivers and volunteers from the local community as well as assisting one of our Housing Associations with sourcing volunteers.

Masks

We have also been looking into PPE. As a company we thought that going forward, we would prefer to wear something that looks a little more socially friendly than just an ordinary surgical mask. We are pleased to have found a local supplier, who has taken it upon herself to make masks look a lot more interesting by sewing them out of a range of fully washable flowered and patterned materials.

We currently have a range of these and are pleased to be sending these out as a thank you to future clients when we are given the go ahead to commence work again.

From all the team at Aquaneed we wish that you and your loved ones stay safe during this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you soon.
